Broadband Infrastructure Program

Are you interested in a career in Broadband Infrastructure?

OhioMeansJobs | Columbus-Franklin County can assist eligible individuals with funding to support training.

The broadband infrastructure program prepares students for careers as:

  • Fiber optic cable installer
  • Broadband equipment installation technician
  • Fiber optic splicing technician trainee
  • Broadband equipment troubleshooter

Students Receive:

  • Certified Premises Cabling Technician (CPCT®)
  • Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT®)
  • Occupational Safety and Health Association 10 hour
  • CPR/First Aid

To Be Considered for Training:

  • Candidates must be 18+ years of age and have a diploma/equivalent.
  • Candidates must be able to distinguish between colors.
  • Candidates must be able to navigate small enclosures.
